WUWM Conference in Turin
Food Centres Ë the global link between producer and consumer

The first WUWM member conference in 2007 will be held in Turin , Italy from 18-20 April.

Entitled øFood Centres Ë the global link between producer and consumerÓ, this WUWM conference will be hosted by the Centro Agro-Alimentare Torino (CAAT).

Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in discussions on wholesale markets and agricultural producers as major players in ensuring food chain integration; the evolution of logistics in modern wholesale markets; food safety and market certification; and using retail markets to benefit consumers and urban regeneration.

Technical tours will be made to the CAAT, as well as to the Porta Palazzo retail market in the city.
